A lay up from Marques Charlton (Deer Park, NY) with just 2.5 seconds remaining in the second half gave the Clarkson University Men's Basketball team one of its few leads in the game, but the Golden Knights stopped a desperation 3-pointer as the clock expired to gain a 79-77 victory over Morrisville State Friday night at Alumni Gymnasium.

The Morrisville State College athletic department has named western equestrian team riders, Amanda Meyer (Equinunk, PA) and Paul Alexander (Truxton, NY) the Mustang Athletes of the Week for the week ending December 4.
Meyer topped all competition in the double show on Saturday, earning the blue ribbon in the intermediate II western horsemanship class in each show against riders from both Colgate University and SUNY Cobleskill.

The Morrisville State College men's basketball team outscored the Storm 40-31 in the second half, en route to the 66-59 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) victory over visiting Keuka College Wednesday night in Morrisville.
Morrisville State collects their first conference win of the 2011 season to improve to 3-4 overall, 1-0 in NEAC play, while Keuka dropped to 0-6 overall, 0-1 in the conference.

Catherine Howland (Rutlandtown, VT) qualified in the open reining class, while Elizabeth Scott (Chittenango, NY) will represent Morrisville State in the advanced western horsemanship class.

The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced its Men's Ice Hockey Players of the Week, naming Morrisville State College freshman forward, Patrick Stillar (Burlington, ONT), its Rookie of the Week for the week ending November 27.
He earns the honor for a second time, earning Rookie of the Week honors on November 13.

The Morrisville State College field hockey team will be collecting donations of non-perishable items to support the local food pantry from now until December 10.
The local food pantry provides meal items to nearly 120 families each month, serving about 325 total individuals in the Morrisville-Eaton and Stockbridge Valley school districts.

The New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) office announced the 2011 Football All-Conference Teams, naming three from Morrisville State to its honorable mention team.
Sophomore Nate Ryan (Staten Island, NY) started all 10 games for the Mustangs on the offensive line, recording two solo and an assisted tackle on the season. Ryan is a two-year starter for the Mustangs on the offensive line.
