Patrick Stillar (Burlington, ONT) named SUNYAC Rookie of the Week

The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced its Men's Ice Hockey Players of the Week, naming Morrisville State College freshman forward, Patrick Stillar (Burlington, ONT), its Rookie of the Week for the week ending November 27.



He earns the honor for a second time, earning Rookie of the Week honors on November 13.



Stillar led the Mustangs to a 1-1 record on the week, recording three goals and an assist at the Rutland Herald Invitational Tournament at Castleton State University. In the 4-2 victory over Tufts, Stillar netted two goals, including one on the power play. On Sunday he added a goal and assist in the 4-3 loss to nationally ranked #3 Castleton.



Ranked second on the team in scoring with five goals and six assists for 11 points, Stillar currently leads all freshmen in scoring in the conference.



Stillar is majoring in sports, nutrition and fitness management at Morrisville State. He is the son of Monique Wills of Burlington, Ontario.
