The SUNY Morrisville Computer Information Technology (CIT) Department, located in Charlton Hall, features a newly renovated first floor wing that allows both the faculty and students to connect to any device or resource in the CIT datacenter from any room and our student collaborative workspaces.

Modern equipment such as servers, storage, firewalls, switches, routers and wireless controllers has also allowed us to bolster our virtualization infrastructure, which is utilized in numerous courses across all CIT programs.

In addition to a unique education and outstanding facilities and equipment, SUNY Morrisville provides a variety of related clubs, events and competitions to further enhance your experience.

SUNY Morrisville Esports (MES)

SUNY Morrisville Esports (MES) creates a community for interested gamers through education, sportsmanship, competitive multiplayer gaming and attendance at gaming-related events.

Global Game Jam®

SUNY Morrisville was the first SUNY school to become a host site for Global Game Jam® (GGJ), the world’s largest on-site game creation event. GGJ gives teams of artists, hobbyists, programmers and gamers throughout the world a chance to brainstorm, innovate, collaborate and develop new ideas for game design over the course of 48 hours.
