Why SUNY Morrisville Human Services?

This certificate program is designed to provide education and training to those who are looking for a career helping others or for anyone already employed in human services but seeking career advancement.

The curriculum will help enhance your knowledge, understanding and skill levels required to provide high-quality services to dependent individuals, including children, youth, and adults diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities, or mental, emotional or behavioral disorders. 

Through 21 credit hours, you will study courses such as abnormal psychology, counseling and case management, helping processes & crisis intervention and administration & management of human services.

If you wish to further your education, you can transfer seamlessly into the SUNY Morrisville human services Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree program

The certificate program also provides current professionals with an opportunity to receive continuing education credits.
