Visiting SUNY Cobleskill battled back from a 12 point halftime deficit to threaten Morrisville State's unblemished record, but the Mustangs were able to pull out the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) victory by a narrow 81-80 margin Tuesday evening in Morrisville.
Morrisville State improved to 8-6 overall with the win, remaining unbeaten in conference play with a 5-0 record, while Cobleskill dropped to 1-14 overall, 1-4 in NEAC action.

Dowling, of Oneida, helped design then built the desk in wood technology classes at Morrisville State College along with five other students in the college's wood products technology associate degree program.

Ater assisted the men's basketball team to a 1-1 week, tallying 28 points, 18 rebounds, five assists and four blocks in two games.

Davis led Morrisville State to a 1-1 week, including a 66-55 win over NEAC rival Keuka College on Wednesday in which he nailed four 3-pointers and posted a team high 18 points to go along with six boards, three assists and three steals.
