Morrisville State College senior net minder, Caylin Relkoff (Grand Forks, BC) is following his dream of playing hockey professionally, signing with the Reading Royals to an Amateur Tryout Agreement on March 1, 2011.
The Reading Royals are a member of the ECHL (East Coast Hockey League), a Premier “AA” Hockey League.

The Morrisville State College western equestrian team posted high point team honors twice in Sunday's show, completing the regular season with an undefeated 8-0 record.
Topping the competition with 251 team points throughout the season, Morrisville State will be representing Zone 2, Region 3 at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) western semi-finals team competition in Findlay, Ohio on March 26th.

The Morrisville State College men's basketball season came to an end Friday night as fourth seed Gallaudet University claimed the 80-69 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) championship tournament quarterfinal game over the Mustangs in Middletown, PA.
Morrisville State concludes the 2010-11 campaign with a 12-13 overall record, 10-8 in conference action, appearing the NEAC tournament for the second straight season.

The Morrisville State College athletic department has named women's basketball freshman Nijee Scott (Bronx, NY) the Mustang Athletes of the Week for the week ending February 20.
Scott tallied 44 points, 13 assists, nine steals and 14 rebounds in a 0-2 week for the women's team. Scott netted a collegiate best 27 points in the loss to SUNYIT, hitting 3-of-4 from behind the arc while nailing 8-of-10 from the free throw line.

The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced its 2010-11 Ice Hockey All-Conference teams, with Morrisville State College's freshman defender, James Jarvis (Pickering, ONT), earning honorable mention honors.
Jarvis completed the season with five goals and 10 assists for 15 points, ranking fifth overall in freshman scoring in the conference, sixth in defenseman scoring. Three of his scores were on the man advantage.

The Morrisville State College hunt seat equestrian team tallied 39 team points to earn reserve champion show honors Saturday at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) equine event held at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs.
Skidmore was show champion with 47 points, followed by Morrisville with 39, Hartwick 29, Albany 18, RPI 18, Siena 18, Cobleskill 18, Colgate, 17, Union 12, and Oneonta 10.

The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) hockey quarterfinal contest between #4 Plattsburgh State and #5 Morrisville State will take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23 at Plattsburgh.
Tickets go on-sale to the general public at the Field House Box Office on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. for $5 per person and $2 for SUNY students with valid college identification.

The Mustangs completed the regular season with a 12-12 overall record, 10-8 in conference play, and will face fourth seed Gallaudet University (16-9, 12-6 NEAC) Friday at 5 p.m. in the quarterfinal round.

In the first of the double show, the Mustangs posted 32 team points to collect show champion honors, while Colgate University earned reserve champion honors with 30 team points.
