The Morrisville Access Program (MAP) provides supplementary academic and personal support to new students upon transitioning to SUNY Morrisville.
Students admitted to SUNY Morrisville through the Morrisville Access Program will receive a variety of benefits, including:
- Onboarding through a pre-semester Jump Start Seminar Program
- Enrollment in a first-semester Practical Study Skills course
- Pairing with a MAP Peer Mentor
- Connection to a professional Success Coach from the Campuswide Advising Office
- 24/7 swipe access to the MAP Lounge

MAP Student Move-In
Monday, Aug. 19, 2024
All new MAP students are required to move in on Monday, Aug. 19, 2024 and should plan to arrive between 8:00AM and 2:00PM.

MAP Jump Start Seminar
Monday, Aug. 19, 2024 – Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024
The MAP Jump Start Seminar consists of two days of programming to aid students in their transition to the SUNY Morrisville Campus. During this time, students will learn about and see campus, meet their peers, MAP Mentors, and Success Coaches, and acquire many of the tips and tricks necessary for a successful first semester.
Arrival on Aug. 19 and participation in the MAP Jump Start Seminar is mandatory for all students admitted to the college through the Morrisville Access Program. Anyone who does not arrive on time or does not participate in the Jump Start Seminar may lose their MAP standing and have their application reconsidered for admission to the college.

Kickstart your SUNY Morrisville college journey with an exciting new student orientation packed with interactive activities and invaluable connections! Orientation programming kicks off Thursday, Aug. 22 at 4:00pm.
There is mandatory programming for all new students as part of New Student Orientation.
