Relkoff signs agreement with ECHL's Reading Royals

Morrisville State College senior net minder, Caylin Relkoff (Grand Forks, BC) is following his dream of playing hockey professionally, signing with the Reading Royals to an Amateur Tryout Agreement on March 1, 2011.



The Reading Royals are a member of the ECHL (East Coast Hockey League), a Premier “AA” Hockey League.



In his four-year career with the Mustangs, Relkoff made 79 starts in net, and compiled a record setting 2553 saves (.889%) in 4635 minutes of play. He has posted 27 wins between the pipes for Morrisville State, including two shut outs, while leading the hockey program to astonishing victories over some of the top NCAA Division III teams in the country.



His accomplishments on the ice have brought several acknowledgements of Player of the Week awards, both through the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) and Morrisville State College.



Aside from his success on the ice, Relkoff is also a star in the classroom, earning Dean's List honors at Morrisville as well as SUNYAC Commissioner's and All-Academic Team accolades.



Relkoff is currently pursuing his bachelor's degree in human performance and health promotion at Morrisville State. He is the son of Ken Relkoff and Anne Robertson of Grand Forks, British Columbia.
