Ashford, Carbaugh named Mustang Athletes of the Week

The Morrisville State College athletic department has named western equestrian riders, Tanya Ashford (Wapwallopen, PA) and Wyatt Carbaugh (Greencastle, PA) the Mustang Athletes of the Week for the week ending February 27.



Ashford won the intermediate II western horsemanship class in both shows Sunday to remain undefeated. She has been selected as the intermediate team rider for Morrisville State the Zone 2, Region 3 Championships held at the western semi-finals on March 26 in Findlay, Ohio.



Carbaugh was the top rider for the Mustangs in the intermediate I western horsemanship class on Sunday in both shows. He will be representing Morrisville State in the regional championships in the beginner horsemanship class this Sunday.
