The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Continental Tire NCAA Division III Men’s East Poll has released their current regional rankings, listing Morrisville State College in a three way tie for the tenth position.
This marks the first time any collegiate sport at Morrisville State College has achieved a regional ranking.

Yet high atop concrete buildings, above the noise and congestion of the streets of New York City, farmers are making it happen—a viable way to grow food called rooftop farming.

Additional information became available this morning for the NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Regional game between Morrisville State College and Carnegie Mellon University.
Tickets for the contest are $6 per adult, $3 for students and senior citizens and $2 for children ages 3-12. Fans are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.

Morrisville State College men’s soccer will be making their first ever appearance in the NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Championship Tournament, and as announced in the selection show held at 1:00 PM Monday, will face Carnegie Mellon University in the first round of the Regional Bracket.
Morrisville State (15-4-1) earned the automatic qualifier to the NCAA’s after defeating Penn State Abington on Sunday for the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championship Title.

Morrisville State College head men’s basketball coach, Joseph Smith, recently announced the addition of Kyle Martin to the coaching staff for the 2012-2013 season.
The Tully, N.Y. native comes to Morrisville State from Hamilton College where he served as the assistant men’s basketball coach in 2011.

Second seed Morrisville State College men’s soccer claimed the programs first North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championship title Sunday, posting a dramatic 2-1 overtime victory over top seed Penn State Abington in Fort Washington, Pa. The Mustangs earned the automatic bid to the NCAA Championship Tournament, the first in the history of the program.

The Mustangs drop to 1-8 overall, 1-6 in conference play, while the Lions improve to 4-5 overall, 3-4 in NJAC action.

The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its 2012 NEAC Men’s Soccer All-Conference selections, naming five Morrisville State student-athletes to its all-conference teams for the 2012 season.
Morrisville State posted a 13-4-1 regular season record, and finished second in the conference with an 8-1-1 record.

Morrisville State drops to 0-4-0 overall, 0-3-0 in conference action, while the Bengals improve to 2-1-1, picking up their first SUNYAC win.

Morrisville State College athletics department has teamed up with the American Red Cross in an effort to collect donations for the Disaster Relief Fund to be directed to those affected by this week’s Hurricane Sandy in the Tri-State area. Donations will be collected at Saturday’s football game against The College of New Jersey.

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – Penn State Abington will be the host site of the 2012 NEAC Men’s Soccer Championship Tournament after the Nittany Lions won the regular season championship with a 9-1 conference record and 27 overall points.
The tournament will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3 and Sunday, Nov. 4.

The Morrisville State College hunt seat equestrian team opened the 2012-2013 season Saturday with a third place finish at the Hartwick College Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Invitational held in Oneonta.
Morrisville State tallied 33 team points in the show, being topped by show champion Skidmore (47) and reserve champion Hartwick (38).

Visiting Morrisville State College women’s volleyball closed out the 2012 season campaign Saturday, falling in a 3-0 match decision to host Keuka in Keuka Park.
The Mustangs ended the season with a 5-18 overall record, after Keuka posted the 25-16, 25-16 and 28-26 set victories.

Senior forward Courtney Cartier (Hudson Falls, N.Y.) registered six points on a goal and four assists to lead visiting St. Lawrence University field hockey to a 5-1 victory over host Morrisville State College Saturday afternoon in Morrisville.
The win lifts the Saints to 3-13 overall, while Morrisville State drops to 2-16.
