The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced its softball tournament bracket for the 2011 North Division Conference Tournament, awarding Morrisville State College the third seed. The Mustangs completed the regular season with a 15-13 overall record and posted a program best 12-4 NEAC record. Keuka College claimed the top spot with a 14-0 conference record and will host the tournament on Friday and Saturday. SUNY IT is the second seed with a 12-4 NEAC record, while Cazenovia rounded out tournament bids with the fourth slot (7-11).

The Morrisville State College men's lacrosse team rolled to a 20-9 victory over host Wells College in Aurora Monday afternoon, claiming their second straight regular season conference title with a perfect record. The Mustangs take the title for the second straight season with an undefeated North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) record at 6-0, while improving their overall record to 10-3. Morrisville State posted a 10-2 lead at half, before posting 10 more in the second half en route to the victory.
The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) and North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has announced its women's lacrosse tournament bracket for the 2011 western division conference tournament, awarding Morrisville State College the second seed. The Mustangs (6-6, 6-1 conference play) will face third seed Cazenovia (7-6, 5-2) on Saturday, April 30 at 2 p.m. Top seed Keuka College (9-1, 7-0) will serve as host of the tournament, and will face fourth seed Wells College (6-7, 4-3) in the first semi-final game, scheduled for 11:30 a.m. in Keuka Park.
The Morrisville State College men's lacrosse team, together with the Morrisville and surrounding communities, raised more than $2,800 Saturday, April 16th for the Wounded Warrior Project, raising awareness about the program which helps injured service members returning home from battle.
Morrisville State sophomore goalkeeper, Allison Strub (Clifton Springs, NY) recorded eight saves to secure the 8-3 conference victory over visiting Cazenovia College Thursday afternoon in Morrisville. Morrisville State improves to 6-6 overall in the win, 6-1 in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) West action. Cazenovia drops to 7-6 overall, 5-2 in conference play. Cazenovia held the 2-1 advantage over the Mustangs with just over 20 to go in the first half, before Morrisville State posted three scores to take the 4-2 lead into the break.
The Morrisville State College softball team swept Wells College in double header action Thursday afternoon in Aurora, topping the express 14-2 in game one (five innings) and edging a comeback attempt, 16-14, in game two. Morrisville State improves to 13-13 overall, 10-4 in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action, while Wells dropped to 1-17 overall, 1-13 in NEAC play.
The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) office has announced its weekly award winners, naming Morrisville State College's Adam Lewis (Painted Post, NY) the Men's Lacrosse Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 17. Lewis, senior attackman for the Mustangs, led the team to a 2-0 week, including a 1-0 record in conference action. He posted 15 goals on 20 shots, tallied two assists, and collected seven ground balls.
