The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) office has announced its weekly award winners, naming Morrisville State College's Adam Lewis (Painted Post, NY) the Men's Lacrosse Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 17.
Lewis, senior attackman for the Mustangs, led the team to a 2-0 week, including a 1-0 record in conference action. He posted 15 goals on 20 shots, tallied two assists, and collected seven ground balls.
In the 19-18 conference win over Medaille, Lewis recorded a collegiate best eight goals and assisted two others en route to the win.
The Corning Painted Post-West graduate is majoring in technology management – resort and recreation services at Morrisville State. He is the son of Byron Lewis of Painted Post, New York.
