The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its Men's Lacrosse All-Conference and individual award selections, naming Morrisville State College's freshman attack, Jack Martocello (Miller Place, N.Y.) the 2012 Rookie of the Year.
Morrisville State posted a 10-3 regular season record, and finished atop the conference with a perfect 7-0 record for the third straight season, behind a stellar freshman campaign from Martocello.

Morrisville State College western rider, Catherine Howland (Rutlandtown, VT) capped off a stellar riding season with a top five finish in three class competitions over the weekend at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Western National Championships held in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Howland claimed third place overall in the open individual reining class and followed with a fifth place finish in open individual horsemanship.

Top seeded Morrisville State College men's lacrosse team had their tournament title chances halted Saturday afternoon as fourth seed Medaille College stunned the Mustangs with the 10-9 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) semifinal victory in Morrisville.
Morrisville State drops to 10-4 overall, while Medaille improves to 8-6 and advances to meet second seed Keuka for the tournament title.

Not a day goes by that Morrisville State College equine student Katrina McAllister doesn't think about her best friend, Laura Janson. She remembers most her driving spirit and how much she loved animals. The promising Morrisville State College student, who naturally connected with everyone, was a role model to McAllister who was four years younger and boarded her horse at the Janson home in North Chittenango.

May 19 will be one of the brightest days in Samantha Wackford's life.
The 27-year-old Guyana native will cross the stage with fellow Morrisville State College classmates and receive her diploma during the college's commencement ceremony at 1 p.m. in the recreation center. She will receive an associate degree in human services from the college's Norwich campus.
Wackford views graduation like every other journey in her life—with bold optimism.

The Morrisville State College men's lacrosse program teamed up with the Wounded Warriors Project, Saturday April 28th in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action against Hilbert College. The Mustangs raised $4,000 for the Wounded Warriors Project, from the raffles, gate proceeds, online jersey auction and a $200 donation from senior Tom Longland (Dunnville, ONT) the 2012 Rays of Light Servant Leadership Award recipient.

The Morrisville State College men's lacrosse team clinched the regular season North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) title Saturday evening by defeating Hilbert College 21-10.
The Mustangs are now 10-3 overall and a perfect 7-0 in the conference while Hilbert dropped to 5-7 and 4-4.

The Morrisville State College men's lacrosse was able to withstand a fourth quarter Wildcat comeback attempt, holding on to a 15-13 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) victory Wednesday over rival Cazenovia College in Cazenovia.
Morrisville State improves to 10-3 overall and remain undefeated in conference play with a 7-0 record. Cazenovia drops to 7-6 overall and suffer their first NEAC loss this season (6-1).

Receiving the Rays of Light Servant Leadership Award was Thomas Longland, of Dunnville, Ontario, a human performance and health promotion bachelor degree program major. Longland also has an associate degree in sports, nutrition and fitness management from Morrisville State College.
