The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its Women's Lacrosse All-Conference and regular season award winners, naming Morrisville State College's head coach Amanda Nobis the 2012 Coach of the Year.

Nobis, a native of Painted Post, N.Y., guided Morrisville State to a program best 11-4 regular season record, and finished atop the conference with a perfect 9-0 record, earning the overall top seed in the conference championship tournament, in which they claimed the title in a thrilling 11-10 three overtime victory over Keuka on Sunday.

Nobis had six players earn all-conference honors alone this season, including Shelby Wood (Duanesburg, N.Y.) who was named the NAC West Rookie of the Year.

In her fourth season at the helm of the program, Nobis has compiled an overall record of 30 wins and 30 losses, while guiding the team to three straight appearances in the NAC West Championship Tournament, reaching the finals for the past two seasons.

Morrisville State will face-off against Castleton State College Saturday, May 5 at noon for the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) title, with the winner receiving an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
