Visiting Oswego State won six of 10 matches Wednesday night at Morrisville State College, picking up the 24-15 dual win in Morrisville.
Michael Gentilcore (Rochester, NY) posted a major decision victory at 125 pounds, defeating Morrisville State's Justin Delamothe (Cross River, NY) 10-0 to give Oswego the early 4-0 match lead.

Morrisville State College senior forward Bryan Eddy (White Plains, NY) recorded 16 points and 14 rebounds as the visiting Mustangs topped host SUNY Canton 84-59 Tuesday night in Potsdam.
Morrisville State opened the contest with an 11-3 run over the first six minutes of the game and led by as many as 15 in the first twenty, en route to a 38-27 lead at the break.

The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has announced its Players of the Week for the week ending January 30, naming Morrisville State College freshman Taylor Vince (Barrie, ONT) the Ice Hockey Rookie of the Week.
Vince, defenseman for the Mustangs, tallied two goals and two assists for Morrisville State in an 8-6 conference win over Brockport on Friday.

Visiting Gallaudet University men's basketball posted a 85-77 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) victory over host Morrisville State College Sunday afternoon in Morrisville.
Morrisville State pulled to within four with less than a minute remaining in the contest, but Gallaudet remained perfect on the day from the charity stripe, hitting six of a game total 22 in the closing seconds to secure the win.

Morrisville State pulled to within eight with six minutes remaining in the contest, but Faafiti added nine additional points down the stretch to secure the win for the Bisons, who remain undefeated at 18-0.

Visiting Penn State Harrisburg women's basketball hit six three's and forced 13 Mustang turnovers in the first half en route to a 74-59 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest Saturday afternoon in Morrisville.
Morrisville State shot just 20.7 percent from the floor in the first half while Harrisburg raced out to a 44-24 lead at the break. In the second half, the Mustangs attempted a comeback attempt, but fell short as the Nittany Lions collected the win.

The Ice Knights stunned Morrisville State with their first score of the evening, as Carson Schell put one past Mustang netminder Caylin Relkoff (Grand Forks, BC) just 1:49 into the contest.

The Morrisville State College men's basketball team posted their second straight conference victory Saturday afternoon, fueled by a collegiate best performance by freshman Kucjok Ater (Syracuse, NY) as the Mustangs topped visiting Penn State Harrisburg 94-80 in Morrisville.
The win boosts the Mustangs to 6-10 overall, 5-6 in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action. Penn State Harrisburg drops to 9-9 overall, 9-3 in conference play.

Sledding, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snow sculpting are among the activities Morrisville State College students will be partaking in during Winter Fest, Feb. 19.
Events, which are free and open to the public, will take place from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Building and the Morrisville-Eaton Elementary School baseball field, both located on Eaton Street.

Tim Wierman, a nationally renowned speaker on the topic of sports nutrition, will be speaking at Morrisville State College tonight at 7 p.m. in the Student Activities Center Theatre.
Wierman will address topics related to sports nutrition including fuel for the athlete, pre-competition meal planning, recovery foods, and fluid replacements for the athlete.

The Morrisville State College men's basketball team snapped a three-game losing streak Wednesday night, posting a victory over North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) rival Cazenovia College by an 88-71 final in Cazenovia.
Morrisville State led by three at the break before Cazenovia shot just 27 percent from the floor, compared to the Mustangs 59 percent, in the second half.

The Morrisville State College athletic department has named freshman hockey defenseman, James Jarvis (Pickering, ONT) the Mustang Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 23.
Jarvis posted a goal and assist in the 3-2 loss to #14 Hobart College on Saturday. He assisted the first score in the second period to cut the Statesman lead to one, before netting a power play score in the 19th minute of the final period to complete Mustang scoring.

Morrisville State College, in partnership with Norse Energy Corp, is hosting two free informational workshops on potential careers in the natural gas industry.
The workshops will be held at the college's Norwich campus Feb. 16, from 6-7 p.m., in the community room of Roger Follett Hall, and at the Morrisville campus March 9, from 6-7 p.m., in Charlton Hall, room 125.

Morrisville State is now 8-7-1 on the season, while Hobart improves to 12-4-1.

The Morrisville State College men's basketball team dropped their third straight contest, falling to host Keuka College on the road in Keuka Park by a 73-59 final.
Keuka converted on 56 percent of shots taken in the first half, compared to 36 for Morrisville State, to take a 35-27 lead at the half.
