The Mustangs close at 5-20 overall, 5-17 in NEAC play, while Cobleskill improves to 13-12, 12-10 in the conference.

Senior Bryan Eddy (White Plains, NY) tallied 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Morrisville State College men's basketball to a 83-71 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) victory Saturday afternoon over visiting SUNY Cobleskill in Morrisville.
Morrisville State improves to 12-12 overall, 10-8 in conference action and await tournament seeding Sunday night. Cobleskill drops to 10-15 overall, and 10-8 in conference play.

Freshman goaltender Kevin Carr (Unionville, ONT) posted his third career shut out Friday night, making 44 saves, as the visiting Buffalo State College Bengals posted a 3-0 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) victory over host Morrisville State at the IcePlex in Morrisville.
The loss drops the Mustangs to 11-11-1 overall, 8-6-1 in SUNYAC action, while the Bengals up their record to 12-10-3, 8-5-3 in conference play.

The Morrisville State College western equestrian team narrowly escaped competition Saturday afternoon, collecting their fifth and sixth wins of the season to remain undefeated.
In the first of the double show, the Mustangs posted 32 team points to collect show champion honors, while Colgate University earned reserve champion honors with 30 team points.

The Morrisville State College ice hockey team posted the biggest upset victory of the program Saturday night, topping #1 nationally ranked Oswego State 5-2 in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) action in Oswego.
The win gives the Mustangs an 11-10-1 overall record and 8-5-1 SUNYAC record, while Oswego falls to 20-3-0, dropping their first contest in conference play (13-1).

Senior goalie Caylin Relkoff (Grand Forks, BC/Huntsville Muskoka Otters) turned aside 25 shots and four different players scored goals as the Morrisville St. men's hockey team skated to a 4-0 win versus Cortland Friday night in SUNYAC action. The Red Dragons fell to 5-16-2 overall and 4-9-1 in the conference. The Mustangs improved to 10-10-1 and 7-5-1.
Junior goalie Brittan Kuhlman (Omaha, NE/Winnipeg Saints) made 42 saves for the Red Dragons.

A back-and-forth battle, Wells hit a three at the end of the first half to post a four point lead at the break.

Junior 125 pounder Justin Delamothe (Cross River, NY) put Morrisville State ahead early, recording a technical fall over David Bailen by a 15-0 final, but Oneonta posted wins in the next four matches to take a commanding lead.

The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced its 2010 Fall SUNYAC All-Academic Team and Commissioner's List with Morrisville State College field hockey player, Amber Martin (Hudson Falls, NY) earning All-Academic team honors.
To be eligible for SUNYAC All-Academic team recognition the nominated student-athlete must have a fall semester grade point average of 3.3 or higher.

The Morrisville State College women's basketball team outlasted host Penn State Berks Sunday afternoon, stunning the Nittany Lions with an 83-78 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) victory in overtime in Reading, Pennsylvania.
The Mustangs by as many as 12 in the second half, but the Nittany Lions battled back and hit a three-pointer with 20 seconds remaining in the contest to force the overtime period.

Junior Justin Delamothe (Cross River, NY) went 3-0 for the Mustangs at 125 pounds, but it wasn't enough as Morrisville State fell short in three dual matches Saturday at the Messiah College Duals.
Kings College recorded the victory on the mats over Morrisville by a 36-8 final. Gettysburg won 31-9 and Messiah posted a 33-11 win over the Mustangs on the day.
