MORRISVILLE, NY— A sea of green decorated the Morrisville State College recreation center during the college’s 104th commencement exercises held today. Graduates donned green caps and gowns and celebrated alongside family and friends amid a stage adorned with a lavish display of flowers, grown by students in the college’s horticulture program and arranged by graduating seniors from the program. 
MORRISVILLE, NY—Hank deGlee considers himself an average high school student. He enjoys playing sports, hanging out with friends, hunting and working on his family’s dairy farm. But aside from the regularities of his normal life as a high school teen playing football and tackling trigonometry and calculus, the 18-year-old from South New Berlin is anything but average.
MORRISVILLE, NY—Dr. David E. Rogers, of Nelson, will become the eighth president of Morrisville State College. Dr. Rogers was appointed today by The State University of New York Board of Trustees. His appointment is effective on or about June 1, 2015. 
MORRISVILLE, NY—More than 1,000 of the best high school students and future NYS agricultural leaders will converge on the Morrisville State College campus as it hosts this year’s State FFA Convention May 14-16. Local chapters attending the event include, the Madison, Stockbridge Valley, DeRuyter, Cazenovia, VVS, and Hamilton. 
MORRISVILLE, NY— The best and brightest eleventh- and twelfth-grade student automotive technicians from across the state will race against the clock to correctly identify and fix vehicles that have been “bugged” on purpose.  When it is all said and done, one team will drive away the winner of the FORD/AAA Student Auto Skills Competition being held at Morrisville State on May 8.
MORRISVILLE, NY—Morrisville State College students showcased their talents as future business leaders during the New York State Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) Conference hosted recently at the college.  Participants in the conference were able to sharpen their core business skills, expand their networks, and partake in business and business-related competitive events. 
MORRISVILLE, NY—A team of Morrisville State College students took first place in the prestigious Bistro Challenge at the International Food Service Executives Association (IFSEA) Conference 2015 held recently in Orlando, Fla. 
MORRISVILLE, NY–Five Morrisville State faculty/staff members were recently honored with Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence by the State University of New York and SUNY Chancellor Nancy Zimpher. Receiving the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Faculty Service is: Timothy W. Gerken, of Garrattsville The SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Faculty Service recognizes faculty members for excellence in teaching techniques, scholarship and professional growth, student services and academic standards. 
MORRISVILLE, NY—A four-time national champion, a former NFL wide receiver, and a first-team All-American will be inducted into Morrisville State College’s Wall of Fame on Saturday, June 13. Inductees are:
