MORRISVILLE, NY—Morrisville State College will host its fifth annual Milk Run on Friday, April 20, to benefit the experiential learning activities of the agricultural science, business and dairy programs.
The family-friendly event is a five-kilometer (5K) run, walk or crawl open to all skill levels. The race begins at 6 p.m. in the Marshall Hall parking lot, with race-day registration and packet pickup from 4:30-5:45 p.m.

MORRISVILLE, NY—Morrisville State College is seeking farmer partners to participate in its 2018 growing season industrial hemp research trials.
Farmers interested in growing 10 acres of hemp must submit an application (link below).
Selected participants will receive seed, soil testing and crop consulting in return for planting, fertilizing and harvesting the crop.

“We have incredible things going on around campus, but I think the one thing that’s missing is fungi,” Chandler said in his opening remarks before a panel of judges during the 2018 Cotton Business Idea Competition.

MORRISVILLE, NY—Prepare to be hauntingly entertained as the Morrisville State College Theater Department and Student Government Organization (SGO) present Sweeney Todd: A Musical Thriller.
The musical, composed by Stephen Sondheim and written from an adaptation by Christopher Bond, will be performed in the Little Theater of the college’s Student Activities Center March 23-24 and 29-31 at 8 p.m. and March 25 at 2 p.m.

Her passion for doing so has led Morris to pursue a career in massage therapy, which she plans to combine with her love for cosmetology and one day work at a spa.

Initial lab results are negative for any presence of mumps. The diagnosis remains a suspected case only, pending additional results.

Per state health regulations, the student is in isolation and will remain there until Sunday, and samples are on their way to state laboratories in Albany.
