As a professor in the Automotive Department, Loren Maki teaches Automotive Electrical and Electronic Diagnostic courses. He has earned an associate's degree in Automotive Technology from SUNY Morrisville, a bachelor's degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Cornell University, and a master's degree in Information Design and Technology from SUNY Polytechnic. He holds the following automotive certifications: ASE Certified Master Automobile Technician (A1-A8), ASE Advanced Engine Performance Specialist Certification (L1), ASE Auto Maintenance and Light Repair Certification (G1), 609 Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Certification, NYS DMV Inspector Certification, and manufacturer specific training certifications through Subaru and Chrysler.
