As a professor in the Natural Resources and Renewable Resources Programs, Dr. Sarauer is responsible for the Environmental Technology, Surface and Groundwater Management, Environmental Planning and Natural Resources Management, and Invasive Species Management courses at SUNY Morrisville. In addition, she is responsible for an Introduction to Agriculture Sciences course, available to all majors. Dr. Sarauer is a club advisor for the student club Conservation Tri-Society and an academic advisor for freshman and sophomore Natural Resource Conservation students.
Dr. Sarauer earned her Ph.D. in Natural Resources from the University of Idaho where she focused on biochar and forest soils. Dr. Sarauer earned her master's degree in biology from Bemidji State University and her bachelor's degree in biology at Northland College.
