Description: New Federal U.S. Department of Education regulatory definitions of distance education require that institutions ensure regular and substantive interaction between a student and an instructor(s). SUNY Online updates its OSCQR rubric with the new requirement. In the workshop, participants will have an overview of the OSCQR rubric, and the regular and substantive interaction required for the online courses.
Target Audience: Online instructors and instructors who plan to teach online.
