Join CSTEP as we welcome back to campus John Ryan, Founder of Get Right Finance. In Part 2 of his Financial Wellness series, John will be working with students in a workshop setting to provide feedback and suggestions on their personal financial plans. This workshop will be geared toward understanding how to maximize your paycheck.
CTS Sponsored Water Bottle Drive. CTS will collect 10 deposit bottles/cans in exchange for a reusable aluminum water bottle. This event is every Thursday until May 2.
Financial Aid professionals will be available to provide assistance to students returning for the 2024-2025 school year to complete the required FAFSA.

Marissa Cohen, a celebrated author, is hosting a virtual Healing through Writing seminar for us on March 19 at noon! The event will be a wonderful opportunity for our community to process hard feelings like anxiety or trauma through their writing. SUNY Morrisville is gearing up for the Great American Eclipse occurring on April 8th, 2024. A number of events are planned leading up to the eclipse and on the eclipse day itself.
March 1st:
Join us on March 1st as we welcome Matt Fagan, Science Educator, from the Syracuse Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science & Technology (MOST) to the SUNY Morrisville campus. This event is open to Morrisville students, faculty & staff, and the community. Matt will be discussing the eclipse, safe viewing of the event, and how to prepare. From the MOST:

Want to be a millionaire by the time you retire? Want to simply understand loan repayments and building your credit? John is hear to talk about all aspects of financial wellness and preparation for all levels of college students.
Architecture Club will be working with the Construction Specification Institute/Syracuse Chapter, students will go around different product tables and match the product (or assembly) with the questions for each product. This is a fun matching game for students interested in Architecture Engineering and the Construction Industries to learn and understand the relationship between products and specifications.

The Library is offering its fifth installment of the Video Game Book Club Series for students, faculty, and staff. In a Video Game Book Club, participants play the same selected title on their own, and then come together to talk about their experience: gameplay, story, art, music, etc. The Library's selected game this year is Toby Fox’s award-winning title Undertale, available on all major gaming platforms.

The Cotton Family Business Idea Competition gives students a chance to take their idea to the next level. Students will submit their application online, and a panel of judges will review the applications. The top six business ideas will be selected to present their idea on Thursday, April 4, at 4 p.m. in the Hospitality Suite.
