Rays of Light Award
This award recognizes those students who actively and selflessly serve their community. The recipient receives a $100 gift certificate to the Campus Store, and has their name added to a display plaque in STUAC.
Criteria
- Freshman or Sophomore standing
- 2.0 GPA
- Unpaid activity only (on or off campus)
- No college credits connected with the activity
- Students must carry at least 9 credit hours per semester
Rays of Light: Servant Leadership Award
This awards a college junior with $500.00, as well as $200.00 to be donated to the recipient’s choice of charity. They will also receive a crystal statue and have their name added to a display plaque in STUAC.
Criteria
- Junior standing 2.5 GPA
- Application form
- Academic Transcript and Service Transcript
- 500 word essay
- One letter of support from the charity chosen to receive the $200.00 award
