The Norwich Campus Technology Help Desk's goal is to assist with new technologies. Whether you are having a problem with software, hardware, or just a question, our technician will be happy to assist you.

Laptop use is integrated into many SUNY Morrisville programs, and laptops are integral to teaching and learning as a whole. If you bring your own device, we strongly recommend using Windows 10 based machine or newer. MacOS machines are okay to use but you may run into compatibility issues. These issues we can usually work through at the Help Desk. We do not recommend Chromebooks as there are compatibility issues with test-taking software.

The Help Desk can:

  • Assist laptop users with questions or problems with their laptops
  • Set up new laptops for use, distribute the laptops to new users, train the new users on the use and care of their laptops
  • Maintain an inventory of all campus computer hardware and software.
  • Assist with Wi-Fi connections
  • Install new software, patches, and updates
  • Maintain a log of trouble calls on the laptops
  • Create and maintain documentation for users
