Morrisville State College head volleyball coach, Fred Wallace, has announced the addition of Juleah Vedder as assistant coach of the women’s program for the 2012-13 season.
Vedder comes to Morrisville State from Westmoreland High School, where she served as assistant coach for the varsity program last year.
A four-time North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) first team selection and two-time NEAC Player of the Year, Vedder set numerous records as a four-year starter at SUNYIT as an outside hitter, including kills, digs and service aces.
Vedder collected numerous accolades as a two-sport student-athlete for the Wildcats, and claimed top honors in being named the SUNYIT Female Student-Athlete of the Year and Kiwanis-SUNYIT Female Student-Athlete of the Year three times throughout her career.
Serving as a representative for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee throughout her career, she was involved in several leadership and community service initiatives.
Vedder continues to remain actively involved in camps and clinics throughout the year and completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology in May.
