Townsley named Mustang Athlete of the Week

The Morrisville State College athletic department has named junior cross country runner, Austin Townsley (Horseheads, N.Y.) the Mustangs Athlete of the Week for the week ending September 4.



Townsley led the men's team to a second place finish at the Wildcat Invitational held at SUNYIT on Saturday, pacing the Mustangs with a 21:05 time in the 6K race, crossing the line in seventh overall out of 134 individual runners.



The information technology – network administration major at Morrisville State is the son of Mary and Fran Sherwood of Horseheads, New York.
