Morrisville State College and Time Warner Sports of Central New York have reached an agreement to televise the Mustangs New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) contest game against Western Connecticut State University, on Saturday, October 8th at 12 p.m. at Drake Field on the Morrisville State College campus.
The broadcast can be seen exclusively on Time Warner Sports for Time Warner Cable audiences from Albany to Buffalo and Binghamton to the Canadian border. For the local Syracuse broadcast, viewers can see the game live on Time Warner Sports channel 13. For those outside the viewing audience, the game will also be streamed live at http://www.twcs.tv/programming.asp?id=2011-10-8.
“There are so many great things happening at Morrisville right now, including the opportunity to showcase our athletics program and facilities. We're thrilled to have the opportunity to have our game broadcast by Time Warner Sports production team,” said Athletic Director Greg Carroll.
The Morrisville State College athletics department has joined the fight against cancer for the month of October, raising awareness to the disease as collecting funds to donate to the Carol M. Baldwin Research Fund of CNY. Proceeds from the game will benefit the foundation.
Also occurring that day, the Mustangs will be hosting the “Take A Kid to the Game” program, which focuses on allowing youth the opportunity to attend college football games. The NCAA is in its 17th year of this grassroots program and Morrisville State is in its second year of hosting the program.
Admission for the game is $5 for adults, $2 for senior citizens and students, with children 12 and under admitted for free. Tickets are available for purchase on game day only.
