Dear faculty and staff,
I want to thank you all again for the vital role you have played throughout the past year. I hope you are as excited as I am to see a thriving SUNY Morrisville campus community this fall.
Per recent guidance from the NYS Governor’s Office of Employee Relations (GOER), the current telecommuting program will expire on Friday, July 2. Employees who require the ability to telecommute for reasons of eldercare or childcare for a transitional period concluding by or before Sept. 7 will need approval from their supervisor to do so. Employees with a medical accommodation who require the ability to telecommute for a longer term should contact the Office of Human Resources as soon as possible.
By Monday, Aug. 9, all offices should be open and appropriately staffed to provide service to students arriving on campus.
As the health and safety of the campus community remains our top priority, we continue to administer weekly COVID-19 testing through our updated summer testing requirements. We await further guidance from SUNY and New York State with regard to the SUNY requirement that all in-person students are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, contingent on final FDA approval of the vaccines.
Our continued thanks to all of you as we collectively adapt to this new and everchanging environment. I look forward to a safe and successful start of a new academic year and to seeing us all together — and All In — this fall.
Be safe and be well.
