SUNY Morrisville has been recognized again for its excellence with numerous listings in the 2025 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings.
The annual report ranks colleges and universities nationwide according to their performance on diverse measures of academic quality. Regional universities and regional colleges are divided and ranked in four geographical groups: North, South, Midwest and West.
SUNY Morrisville climbed two spots and is ranked No. 24 for Best Regional Colleges North, and is again ranked in the top 15 for Top Public Schools Regional Colleges North, also earning recognition this year as a Best Value for Veterans (#11) and Best Value Schools (#17).
Best value rankings highlight universities that offer a strong education at an affordable cost with low debt, factoring in financial aid and post-graduation success.
SUNY Morrisville also earned additional recognition as a Top Performer for Social Mobility, which evaluates how well colleges serve low-income students.
