The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) released its 2011 Men's Soccer All-Conference teams, naming three Morrisville State College student-athletes to its second and third teams.
Junior forward Sanley Pierre-Louis (Gaithersburg, MD) garnered second team honors following his performance on the field this season. Pierre-Louis led the Mustangs in scoring, putting seven in the back of the net and assisted on another for 15 points this season.
He averaged 1.07 points per game for the Mustangs on the front line, completing the season ranked sixth in both points and goals scored in the conference. He also tallied two game winners.
He is the son of Ronald Pierre-Louis and Marie Sonia Jean and is majoring in accounting at Morrisville State.
Joey Plummer (Gates, NY), freshman midfielder, also received second team honors after tallying one goal and four assists for six points.
The 2011 graduate of Gates-Chili High School is majoring in criminal justice at Morrisville State. He is the son of Suzanne and Joe Plummer.
Mustang freshman forward, Gilroy Alvarez (Guatemala), received third team honors following the 2011 season. Alvarez tallied five goals and one assist for 11 points, including one game winner.
The graduate of Mary Mitchell is majoring in individual studies at Morrisville State and is the son of Edna Castillo.
