Pedersen, Cerbino named Mustang Athletes of the Week

The Morrisville State College athletic department has named hunt seat rider, Teal Pedersen (Manorville, NY) and ice hockey forward, Chris Cerbino (Highland, NY) it's Mustang Athletes of the Week for the week ending November 14.



Pedersen earned high point rider honors for the second time this season, collecting blue ribbons in the intermediate equitation over fences and intermediate on the flat classes on Sunday as Morrisville State claimed reserve team show champion honors.



Cerbino notched his first two scores of the season in a 1-1 week for Morrisville State, netting the game winning score on a power play midway through the third period to propel the Mustangs to a 3-2 upset win over eighth nationally ranked SUNY Plattsburgh on Saturday.



The Canterbury School graduate is majoring in business administration at Morrisville State. He is the son of Linda and Carl Cerbino of Highland, New York.
