MORRISVILLE, NY—Two new products will be hitting the shelves at Nelson Farms Country Store—the work of Morrisville State College students.
New are a spice mix and a lemon-pepper marinade. Students created the products from scratch in MSC Professor Sheila Marshman’s Marketing and Distribution of Agricultural Products class.
Students have been busy this week perfecting and bottling their recipes in a kitchen at Nelson Farms with assistance from Amanda Hewitt, product development manager and 1988 graduate of Morrisville State College's dietetic technician program.
Their products will soon join hundreds of other delectable goods produced by local entrepreneurs and MSC students for sale to the public.
