Morrisville State women drop 57-41 decision to Albany Pharmacy

The Morrisville State College women’s basketball team dropped a 57-41 decision to Albany College of Pharmacy Saturday afternoon on the second day of the Kevin Fee/Roo Classic basketball tournament held at SUNY Canton.

The Mustangs drop to 0-2 on the season and return to the court Tuesday, hosting Brockport at 5 p.m.

Nijee Scott (Bronx, N.Y.) was the lone player for Morrisville State to reach double figures, posting 14 points in the contest, while adding nine rebounds and three steals to her tallies. LaCandice Sanders (Waco, Tx.) added eight points in the efforts.

Three posted double digits for Albany Pharmacy, including Alyson Johnson who had a team high 20.

Albany Pharmacy raced out to a 35-17 advantage at the break.
