Student athletes will be assisting with helping new students move items into their residence hall rooms. Freshmen move-in is scheduled for Aug. 22.

Welcome Weekend is an opportunity for students to become familiar, or reacquaint themselves, with the Morrisville campus and all it has to offer. Activities include check-in for new students, informational sessions, classroom tours, laptop and iPad Mini orientations, and AT&T cellular phone distribution.

There will also be various activities throughout the weekend including a presentation by a hypnotist, mechanical bull riding, recreational activities, movies and a casino night planned for Aug. 24.

All new students—first-year, transfer, and readmitted students, campus resident and commuters, will be greeted by the entire faculty and administration, including the president and the deans, during an Academic Welcome Ceremony which will be held on Aug. 23 at 10 a.m. in Hamilton Hall. This short ceremony will welcome new students to campus and is the official opening of the school year.

This year's enrollment class includes students hailing from Canada, Nigeria, Sweden and India. A new associate degree in culinary arts management was also added to the college's fleet of programs and is being offered this semester.
