Morrisville State volleyball struggles against Hartwick College 3-2

The Mustangs fell to Hartwick College tonight in Morrisville. The team's overall record drops to 6-16.



The Mustangs won the first two sets 27-25 and 28-26. Hartwick came back and won the last three sets 25-22, 25-16 and 15-6.



The Mustangs' Nicole Wright (Dryden, NY) had 15 defensive digs, one solo block, one assist and 14 kills. Deanna Zbikowski (North Syracuse, NY) had 34 assists and five kills.



Morrisville's Angelina Ciaschi (Ithaca, NY) recorded 10 kills, one assist and eight defensive digs. Devan Hirst (Cobleskill, NY) also tallied eight defensive digs. Sarah Keyser (Honeoye, NY) tallied four solo blocks and seven kills.



The team is hosting the NEAC pool play this weekend, Oct. 16 and 17 in the John W. Stewart Activities Center (STUAC).
