The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) office announced its post-season tournament brackets Monday, giving Morrisville State College men’s and women’s lacrosse bids to the championship tournament for the fourth straight season.
The men’s team claimed the fourth spot in the tourney and will face-off against top seed Keuka College on Wednesday at 4 p.m. in the semi-final round in Keuka.
Morrisville State completed the regular season with a 4-8 overall record, 4-3 in conference play, and earned the fourth seed tiebreaker with a 16-4 defeat of SUNYIT earlier in the season.
The Mustangs fell to Keuka back on March 30 by a 14-9 final.
The women’s lacrosse team claimed the second seed in the tournament after finishing the regular season with a 9-6 overall record, 8-1 in NEAC play. They will face third seed Medaille on Saturday at Keuka College at 2 p.m. in the tourney’s second semi-final game.
The women faced Medaille just last week and posted a 16-8 victory.
