Morrisville State College will be making their second consecutive appearance in the NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Championship Tournament, and as announced in the selection show held earlier this afternoon, will face Ramapo College in the first round of the Regional Bracket.
Morrisville State (21-5) earned the automatic qualifier to the NCAA’s after defeating Wells College by a 74-72 margin on Sunday for the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championship Title.
Ramapo enters the contest with a 23-4 overall record and is currently ranked 18th nationally in the latest d3hoops.com poll. The Roadrunners earned the bid to the tournament following a 67-65 defeat of Rutgers-Newark for the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) title.
Morrisville State and Ramapo meet Saturday at 7 p.m. at Nyack College. Additional information will be released as it is made available.
