The Morrisville State College hunt seat equestrian team compiled 26 team points to claim third place at the Skidmore College Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) invitational on Saturday, in Saratoga Springs.
Skidmore won the invite with 49 team points, followed by reserve high point team Hartwick with 31.
Three Mustang riders claimed top honors in their individual classes, including Jessica Gurda (Warwick Valley, NY) with a blue ribbon in the novice equitation over fences class. Lane Simonin (Tivoli, NY) also claimed first place honors in the novice equitation over fences class, while teammate Amber Swan (West Carthage, NY) took the top spot in the advanced walk trot canter class.
Morrisville State returns to the riding arena on Saturday, March 3 at Hartwick.
