Morrisville State to host SUNY Financial Aid Day Information session on February 22

Morrisville State's Financial Aid Office will host a SUNY Financial Aid Day information session on Saturday, Feb. 22.



This free event, which will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Charlton Hall, Room 002, will offer assistance with questions regarding the financial aid process and completing the online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).



The FAFSA asks for information about the student, student's family, and financial situation. Please be sure to bring the following information to fill out the FAFSA:

  • Social Security number
  • Parents' Social Security numbers (if you are a dependent student)
  • Driver's license number (if you have one)
  • Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
  • Federal tax information or tax returns including IRS W-2 information, for the student and parents (if you are a dependent student)
  • Records of untaxed income (child support received, interest income, and veterans benefits, etc.), for the student, and for parents (if you are a dependent student)
  • Cash, savings and checking account balances, and investments, for the student, and parents (if you are a dependent student)
