Morrisville State will host a fun Milk Run to benefit the experiential learning activities of the agricultural business and dairy science programs on Saturday, April 26.
The free event, a 5k run or walk, will begin at 10 a.m. in front of Bailey Hall. Registration is not required and runners of all abilities are encouraged to participate. Yogurt, milk and cheese will be served following the event.
Sponsorships are being accepted. The names of sponsoring agribusinesses, farms, and individuals who donate more than $100 will be posted on the Wall-of-Fame on campus and included in the Facebook pages of the Morrisville Dairy Club and Morrisville Fresh, the operating entity of the agricultural business program.
The Milk Run will support experiential learning activities which enhance student learning, align students with industry, and prepare students for the global economy. Activities include trips to dairy farms, agribusinesses, and an annual trip to Washington D.C.
