Do you love country music and have been waiting to see some of the biggest artists live? If so, then now is your chance, at the NY Country Jam 2012.
The Country Jam will take place on July 13 from 2 to 11 p.m. and July 14 from noon to 11 p.m. on the home field of the Madison-Bouckville Antique Festival, located on Route 20 in Bouckville. There will be an impressive lineup of today’s top country music artists, followed by firework displays after the last performances.
Morrisville State College will be a presenting sponsor at the music festival. Visit their booth at the two-day festival wearing MSC apparel and receive a free giveaway.
Performances on July 13 include 2012 AMC Vocal Duo of the Year nominee Steel Magnolia, Grammy Award winner Gretchen Wilson, Tim Creaser, Kickin’ in the Sticks and Lindsey Highlander. Performances on July 14 include headliner superstars Big & Rich, Darryl Worley, Tracy Lawrence, American Idol season four runner-up Bo Bice, Jason Wicks Band, Twenty Main, Nancy Kenyon Band, Matt Chase & Thunder Canyon, David Lee Murphy and special guests Cowboy Troy and Bradley Gaskin.
The NY Country Jam can accommodate more than 1,000 campsites. Tickets are available online at www.nycountryjam.com as well as at the Nothing Fancy Café & Bar on Ruth Street in Vernon, Hotel Solsville on Valley Road in Madison, and The Copper Turret on West Main Street in Morrisville. Tickets for Friday cost $40, Saturday $45 and weekend tickets $75. Reduced weekend ticket rates will be available for MSC alumni and faculty and staff by visiting alumni.morrisville.edu/jam.aspx.
