The Renewable Energy Training Center (RETC) at Morrisville State College is offering a one-day workshop on anaerobic digestion (AD), Dec. 14 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the RETC bioenergy lab in Galbreath Hall, room 148.
This beginner-level course covers the status of AD in New York state, basic AD system components, AD biological and chemical processes, preventative and corrective maintenance of the engine-generator set and system, and future opportunities in the field.
The cost for the workshop, sponsored by the RETC and Cornell's Pro-Dairy program, is $20 and includes lunch. Participants will earn four professional development hours (PDH) and .4 continuing education units (CEU). A student/faculty/staff fee waiver is available (but does not include lunch).
