Morrisville State College to host open house Sept. 26

MORRISVILLE, NY—Morrisville State College will welcome potential students at an open house on Sept. 26. 

Students can get answers to questions about admissions, academics, financial aid, athletics, student clubs and organizations and more during the open house which coincides with the college’s annual Mustang Weekend celebration. 

The open house schedule includes a welcome at 11 a.m. in the student activities center (STUAC) gymnasium, followed by academic sessions at 11:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. A separate information session for the equine programs will be held at 1:30 p.m., starting in the STUAC theatre and ending at the equine facilities. 

Guided shuttle and walking tours will also be available from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Early bird tours will be held at 9:30 and 10 a.m. Tours start at STUAC by the mustang statue. 

Participants can also enjoy a picnic lunch from 1-4 p.m. in the Administrative Quad near STUAC and cheer the Mustangs on during a homecoming football game versus Buffalo State at 1 p.m. 

The campus store will also be open during the day. Other activities that day include a car show, plant sale and the Madison Hall 5k run.

MSC will also host an open house on Nov. 14.
