Jarvis named Mustang Athlete of the Week

The Morrisville State College athletic department has named freshman hockey defenseman, James Jarvis (Pickering, ONT) the Mustang Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 23.



Jarvis posted a goal and assist in the 3-2 loss to #14 Hobart College on Saturday. He assisted the first score in the second period to cut the Statesman lead to one, before netting a power play score in the 19th minute of the final period to complete Mustang scoring.



Jarvis was recently named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Hockey Rookie of the Week.



The architectural studies and design major at Morrisville State is the son of Sabine and Ian Jarvis of Pickering, Ontario.
