The Children's Center at Morrisville State will hold its fifth annual ChildRUN 5k race on Saturday, July 13. The event will also include a one-mile Fun Run/Walk.
Registration for the race begins at 7:30 a.m. the day of the event. The race starts at 8:30 a.m. at Bailey Hall, located on Route 20 in Morrisville.
The runner entry fee is $20, $5 for ages 13 to 18, and children under 12 are free. The top male and female runners overall and age group awards will be given along with ribbons to all participants 18 and under. Door prizes will also be included.
Proceeds from the race will benefit the Sheila Johnson Child Care Scholarship. For more information about ChildRUN or enrollment options at the center, contact Jennifer Britton at 315.684.6400 or e-mail brittojr@morrisville.edu. The event is also part of the annual Route 20 Road Challenge Series.
The Children's Center at Morrisville State College, Inc., is a licensed and nationally accredited, not-for-profit Early Care and Learning Center offering quality care to children ages six weeks to 12 years old.
