Cazenovia resident takes over new international program at Morrisville State

Sarah Bjork, of Cazenovia, is the new center director at ONCAMPUS SUNY at Morrisville State.



Bjork joined ONCAMPUS SUNY, an international program delivered in partnership with Cambridge Education Group (CEG) and operating under MSC's governance, from Upper Iowa University where she was the founding director of their Intensive English Program (IEP). In addition to administering the IEP, Bjork also taught and recruited students overseas.



Her vast experience includes teaching for two years at a private language institute in Tokyo, Japan while also serving in volunteer youth ministry with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod's World Missions.



In addition to memberships in the TESOL International Association and the Association of International Educators, Bjork has taught various international workshops.



Bjork received her master's degree of ESL from Hamline University, St. Paul, Minn., and a bachelor's degree in English from Concordia University, Irvine, Calif.



She and her husband, Jason, live in Cazenovia. They have three children; Anna, 6, Lisa, 3, and Jedd, 1.



ONCAMPUS SUNY is a high quality university pathway program that provides international students with an immersive US college experience that prepares them for academic, social and professional success. ONCAMPUS SUNY students enroll in the same courses as Morrisville's freshman students and receive supplemental instruction designed to support and complement their academic coursework. Upon successful completion of their year at ONCAMPUS SUNY, students can choose to matriculate into Morrisville State degree programs or transfer to other State University of New York college campuses.
