The Student Health Center, located on campus, contains Health Services, Counseling Services, and Wellness Services. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. while classes are in session.
The mission of the Student Health Center at SUNY Morrisville is to provide confidential, high quality, student-centered physical and mental health care to currently enrolled SUNY Morrisville students. We wish to empower students to make informed choices regarding their overall physical and mental well-being. As part of the educational experience, Health, Counseling and Wellness Services staff work together to provide a variety of quality services and programs focused on physical and emotional health to promote student success and well-being.
New Students - Required Medical Forms
Prior to arrival to campus, ALL students registered for six (6) credits or more MUST submit the following information:

Measles, mumps, rubella (MMR):
New York State Public Health Law 2165 requires:
Any student born after January 1, 1957, must provide proof of immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella, this requirement may be met by the following: proof of disease, immune titers, or two {2} measles, one {1} mumps, and one {1} rubella vaccine given after the student’s first birthday).

Meningitis: Immunizations Date or Declination Form:
New York State Public Health Law 2167 requires:
A record of at least one (1) dose of Meningococcal ACWY vaccine within the past 5 years or a complete 2-dose series of Meningococcal B
OR
An acknowledgement of meningococcal disease risks and refusal of meningococcal vaccination response form signed by the student or student’s parent or guardian (if under the age of 18).

FAQs
Are there COVID vaccine requirements?
SUNY announced the end of the emergency COVID-19 vaccine mandate on 4/12/23. The COVID-19 vaccine is no longer required for attendance at a SUNY institute. Students are strongly encouraged to stay up to date with their vaccinations, including getting booster shots when eligible.
What other medical requirements are there?
All new students taking six (6) credits or more are required to, at a minimum, submit proof of two (2) MMR vaccines or proof of immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella and proof of a meningitis vaccine within the last 5 years or a meningitis waiver form per New York State law. Students planning on utilizing Health Services must also have a complete physical on file.
When are the medical forms due?
The pre-admission medical forms for are due August 1st for Fall admission and January 3rd for Spring admission. We will accept the forms after these dates but we strongly encourage all students to submit forms prior to arrival on campus.
