As a professor in the Environmental Conservation Science, Natural Resource Conservation, Aquaculture and Aquatic Science, and Environmental & Natural Resource Management programs, William Snyder is responsible for the General Ecology, Aquatic Ecology, Fish Ecology & Management, Wildlife Ecology & Management, North American Waterfowl, Aquatic Sampling Design, and Applied Geospatial Techniques I & II courses. Professor Snyder is the academic advisor for the Environmental Conservation Science program, a club advisor for the Conservation Tri-Society, the Curator of the Morrisville College Wildlife Museum, and oversees the Electric Light Stream, Owens-West, and Riparian Successional Wildlife Management Areas. Additionally, Professor Snyder is an NYSDEC Certified Sportsman Education Instructor and often offers firearm and waterfowl certification classes on campus.
