William A. Cesare Jr.

Dr. Cesare is an Associate Professor of Applied Psychology at SUNY Morrisville. He received his Master’s degree in Counseling from SUNY Oswego and his Ed.D. in Counseling from Argosy University. He regularly teaches Introduction to Psychology, Lifespan Development, Child Development, Human Diversity, Motivation and Behavior, Counseling and Case Management, and Introduction to Human Services. Dr. Cesare is also the Internship Coordinator for the Applied Psychology Internship Program, both preparing students for their internships and supervising them in the field.  Before coming to SUNY Morrisville, Dr. Cesare spent 17 years as the Executive Director of a mental health agency that provided a wide range of child and adult services. He is also a Chemical Dependency Therapist (CASAC) and Alcoholism Clinic Director and has many years of experience in the addictions field. In addition to his wife and two children, Dr. Cesare has a large cat family.
