I joined the Social Science faculty (now the Division of General Education) in the Fall of 2006 after seven years of full-time teaching at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, IN. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Mathematics from Adrian College and an M.A. and Ph.D. in History from Bowling Green State University (OH).
I have extensive teaching experience having taught introductory and advanced courses in World, European, and American History as well as courses in American and comparative government. Here at SUNY Morrisville. I teach courses in World and European History, the History of Technology, the History of Science, Russian History, the World Wars, and the Cold War.
My research interests focus on the history of Russian science and the history of mathematics. I have some experience in doing research and teaching in Russia.
I have served the College community in a variety of ways from department chair and interim dean to president of the College Senate.
